Fin & Fable welcomes clear, original pitches about aquariums and fishkeeping. We are interested in useful explanations that help readers understand a tank, its inhabitants and the choices involved in caring for it.
What makes a good pitch
Send a focused idea with a working title, the question it answers and the reader it would help. Tell us what makes the subject distinct from a general aquarium overview, how you would explain unfamiliar terms and what limits or context the piece should acknowledge. Evergreen subjects are especially welcome.
The right fit
We consider pitches on aquarium basics, water, equipment, plants and fishkeeping. We look for original framing, careful language and a practical point of view without unsupported promises or product-led conclusions. Please mention relevant experience accurately; do not present personal observations as universal findings.
Sending a proposal
Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your working title, short outline and any relevant background in the message. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication.
